Skip Blythe  came to know the Lord as his personal Savior in 1979, and from that time was involved in the work of the church in many different capacities, particularly as worship leader and cell group leader. In 1989 he was ordained into the ministry and spent six years in Mexico as a missionary, where he established four churches. He also started and pastored Victory Life Center Church in El Paso, Texas. Today he is a dedicated lay minister who faithfully assists the music program of Healing Place Church of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He lives in nearby Greenwell Springs.
