Pastor Carol Hylton of Brooklyn, New York, was born in Trinidad, West Indies, and moved to New York some thirty years ago. She married and became the mother of one son, William Hylton, after which she pursued her career as a Community Health Nurse, obtaining an Associates Degree in Science from Kingsborough Community College. While in senior studies at York College, God called her to change her course and serve Him in full-time ministry. In 1994 Pastor Fay Montgomery invited her to work with the ministry at Harvest Christian Center (including the Christian bookstore) and then to co-pastor in 1997. In 1998 the ministry moved to Staten Island and simultaneously the Passion Network was birthed, in part through their prayer efforts for apostolic leadership in New York City, under the leadership of Rev. Carlos Lopez. A Hugee Bible Institute graduate of 1991 and former member of Calvary Cathedral of Praise for more than eight years, Carol has a solid foundation in the Word of God and brings an element of His glory wherever she ministers. She has traveled to some 20 nations in mission work and continues to fulfill the Great Commission. For the last seven years, Carol has served as the English Pastor at El Shaddai Haitian Church of God. She was on mission in Haiti during the 2010 Earthquake, working with El Shaddai Mission Church there, and continues to serve in the rebuilding process of that missionary work.
