Close: Draw Near
Life has thrown us all for a loop a time or two. We were handed something that we never saw coming. Bang! Out of nowhere, it just happened, and we were totally caught off guard. Knocked down for a minute or so, we were left flailing, not knowing where or who to turn to. Our world was suddenly turned upside down and inside out, and we couldn’t move; nor did we want to.
But even though we were not moving, time continued on, and we began feeling incrementally better. Eventually, gradually we came out of it, mostly intact, but we came out of it different than when we went in. Now, when we look back we find that often the anxiety or suffering we felt during that time actually helped to propel us to find a way—a new way—to go on. We found ourselves on a truth-seeking path.
But, just as we were about to be content on the path of improvement, we realized we were in the process of real transformation. We had been drawn CLOSE. The whole process can feel chaotic, explosive and confusing, but, at the same time, soothing and elegant. If you can identify with what I’m saying, then good for you. If you’re in an upside-down process right now, then I believe this book can help you.
