“Fasting and prayer should be a part of every Christian’s life, and I have personally experienced many benefits from it. Some people fast only for religious observances, but others do it just to have a better relationship with God. Through fasting, Queen Esther gained favor with the king. Some people fast to break bad habits. We also fast because we want to be enlightened to the things of God, His plan and His purpose for our lives. Jesus fasted at the beginning of His earthly ministry. So, we have many different reasons to fast. With the program outlined in this book, we will be fasting with the purpose of going from the outer court to the inner court and into the presence and favor of our King, Jesus.”  – Jane P. McCoy

Breaking FreeBreaking Free is a book that should be on every believer’s “Must Read and Must Do” list. This book takes you on a very special and powerful 21 day journey of exploration into yourself through the vehicles of scripture, fasting, prayer and by journaling. I especially enjoyed the way in which the author used scriptures to bring light and truth to situations that we all too causally overlook but that may deeply impact our lives without us even realizing it. I highly recommend this book to anyone that has a desire to check or change their spiritual walk but don’t know how or where to start. Written by Betty on Wed 13 May 2020 3:55:15 AM GMT
